Alister Hatt

Senior Software Engineer at Sledgehammer Games

Alister Hatt has a diverse and extensive background in software engineering and development. Alister began their career as a game programmer at Blue Tongue Entertainment in 2002, where they worked until 2004. Alister then joined Blue Tongue Entertainment (THQ) as a Lead Software Engineer, leading a team and overseeing the software development life cycle for various gaming platforms. In 2011, Alister joined Yellowfin as a Senior Application Developer, leading the development of a native iPad and iPhone application for viewing business intelligence reports. Alister then worked at Three Phase Interactive as a Senior Software Engineer from 2013 to 2014.

Alister's next role was at Catapult Sports, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer responsible for enhancing and maintaining real-time desktop analytics software for professional athletes. During their time at Catapult Sports, Alister gained experience in .NET, C#, WPF, MVVM, and WCF development, as well as C++11 data processing.

In 2018, Alister joined OzXCorp Pty Ltd as a Software Architect, where they designed and implemented a full-stack IoT remote monitoring solution for caravan and recreational vehicle technologies. Alister'sresponsibilities included designing the architecture, implementing GoLang microservices in AWS, managing operations in AWS, and implementing web applications using React, TypeScript, Material-UI, and GraphQL.

Most recently, Alister began working at Sledgehammer Games in December 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Alister Hatt earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering from RMIT University from 1998 to 2001. In 2006, they attended the Australian Institute of Management to pursue a program called "The New Supervisor," but the field of study was not specified.
