Andrew O. Urie

Mr. Urie was appointed Vice President – Exploration and Geoscience in July 2021. He has dedicated his 18-year career to SM Energy. Mr. Urie most recently served as Manager – Geoscience and Exploration, and, prior to that appointment, as Exploration and Geoscience Manager for the Permian Region. From 2003-2019 he served in various roles of increasing responsibility, including as a member of the Rocky Mountain and South Texas and Gulf Coast Regions’ exploration teams.
