Thomas Cadet has a diverse range of work experience. Thomas started their career as a Représentant Commercial at Virage Conseil in 2005 and then worked as a Cost Killer at the same company in 2007. Thomas conducted analysis and cost reduction initiatives, resulting in a €25,000 decrease in expenses per year. In 2008, they conceptualized and built a website for Centre Commercial K2 Lorient.

Later, Thomas joined Orange as a Chargé d'études Marketing et Économiques (CIFRE) in 2009, where they extracted customer data and created reporting tables using Business Object. Thomas also worked on statistical projects such as customer lifetime analysis and forecasting.

From 2009 to 2012, Thomas worked as a Chercheur-Économiste at the Centre de Recherche en Économie et Management (CREM). Here, they focused on determining drivers of satisfaction and recommendation between individuals and forecasting mobile communications for over 2.5 million individuals. Thomas also co-delivered courses on econometrics and advanced Office usage.

In 2014, Thomas joined iDVROOM Business as a Data Analyst, responsible for tracking, consolidating and reporting on business and web data. Thomas also carried out analysis on user behavior and conducted route mapping and behavior modeling. In their subsequent role as a Web Marketing Project Manager, they implemented digital campaigns, successfully reducing acquisition costs by a factor of four. Thomas was also involved in lead attribution, SEO/SEA strategies, and content creation. In 2017, Thomas transitioned to the role of Lead Data Scientist at Smartway (Zéro-Gâchis), where they are currently employed.

Thomas Cadet holds a Doctorate in Economic Sciences from Université de Rennes I, which they obtained in 2013. Prior to this, they completed their Master's degree in Economics and TIC (Information and Communication Technology) and e-business consulting at the same university from 2008 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas Cadet has obtained several certifications. Thomas completed a Data Driven Journalism MOOC titled "Doing Journalism With Data: First Steps, Skills and Tools" from the European Journalism Centre in August 2014. Furthermore, they obtained a BO UTILISATEUR WEB INTELLIGENCE XI 3 NIVEAU 1 certification from SQLI in March 2010.

Thomas Cadet has also completed various online courses related to data science and programming.
