Eve Makarova, MBA, CFA, CFP has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Eve currently holds the role of Director of Capital Investments and Portfolio Management at SMBX since 2022. Prior to this, they were Principal, Defined Contribution Delegated Sales Leader at Mercer since 2021. Before that, they were Investment Consultant at Aon from 2018 to 2021. From 2015 to 2018, they were Business Development Manager at Vanguard and Regional Director at Natixis Global Asset Management from 2014 to 2015.

Eve Makarova holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and Queen's University. Eve also holds two additional certifications: Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
