Caryn Suffredini, CFA

Caryn Suffredini, CFA has over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, holding various roles in different companies. Caryn started their career as a Director of Strategic Development and Business Strategy in Bank of America in 1993. In 2004, they joined WestLB and became the Director and Head of Infrastructure North America. There, they focused on providing debt financing for container leasing, trucking, shipping, and rail companies. Caryn also advised on the acquisition, development, and/or privatization of waterway and inland ports, roads, bridges, rail, and social infrastructure projects. In 2009, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Thornton Group LLC, a cross-border capital intermediary whose purpose is to facilitate the strategic vision of its clients by providing advisory services and deal structuring expertise. In 2013, Caryn joined Solebury Capital Group as a Managing Director, where they delivered coordinated strategic advisory services to corporate management and financial sponsors. Caryn'sexpertise included investment banking, investor relations, equity capital markets, and executive search. In 2014, they moved to RSP Investments and became the Managing Director. There, they managed a team specializing in private equity, real assets, and infrastructure real estate. Caryn left this company in May 2022 to join SMC Infrastructure Partners as SVP of Infrastructure & Project Finance.

Caryn Suffredini, CFA obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers University in 1993.
