Jagjeet Dhaliwal

Jagjeet Dhaliwal has a long and varied work experience. Jagjeet began their career in 2008 when they pursued a B.Tech. and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi. In 2011, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Trypat Informational Tech. Pvt. Ltd, where they implemented the Data Access and Application layers of a social networking site using ASP. Net, C# and LINQ, and incorporated Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to regulate access based on the roles of individual users. In 2012, they were a Research Intern at Gene Center, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they developed a faster and alignment-free k-mer-based all-against-all comparison prefilter for kClust over 7-mers, and designed and programmed an efficient branch-and-bound algorithm for generation of similar k-mers. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer/Data Scientist at Paytm, where they worked in a team of 8 developing the semi closed paytm Wallet. In 2017, they joined MessageBird as a Lead Engineer and Software Engineer. During their time there, they worked on building new products and teams that focused on user engagement and growth, and was responsible for building and scaling up teams for internal tools across the organisation, especially across sales and content verticals. In 2022, they joined Smiler as the Head Of Engineering.

Jagjeet Dhaliwal's education history includes schooling from 1997 to 2006 at Sacred Heart Convent School, followed by schooling from 2006 to 2008 at Tiny Tots School.
