Elizabeth McAndrew-Benavides

Elizabeth McAndrew-Benavides has a diverse work experience across various companies. At SMX, they held multiple roles, including Technical Training Consultant, Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, and Director of Cyber Command Cloud Programs. Elizabeth also worked as a Director of Cyber Command Cloud Programs at C2S Consulting Group. At Opsgility, they served as the JEDI Training Manager. Elizabeth established EPRI | U at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) as the Training Manager, where they led a team in managing a global learning management system and developing training programs. Elizabeth was a Senior Manager at the Nuclear Energy Institute, responsible for member services, strategic workforce initiatives, and workforce policy & programs. Elizabeth was also the Vice President of the Center for Energy Workforce Development. Elizabeth held various leadership positions at the North American Young Generation in Nuclear, including President, Past President, Vice President, Communications Chair, and US Affairs Chair. Lastly, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Constellation Energy.

Elizabeth McAndrew-Benavides earned a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University in 2001. Elizabeth then obtained an M.A. in Educational Leadership from Notre Dame of Maryland University from 2003 to 2006. Later, in 2011, Elizabeth completed their EDD in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. In terms of certifications, they received several training and qualifications in different fields, including EPRI Sustainability in the Electric Power Industry from Electric Power Research Institute in 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in 2021, and several Azure certifications from different institutions in 2020 and 2021.
