Richard Mateosian

Richard Mateosian is a seasoned technical writer with extensive experience spanning several decades in various organizations. Currently a Fellow at the Society for Technical Communication since April 1992, Richard is actively engaged in the SF Bay Area Chapter. As a Golden Core Charter Member of the IEEE Computer Society, Richard was recognized with the rank of Life Member in acknowledgement of exemplary service and dedication to technology advancement. Richard's writing contributions include the MicroReview column for IEEE Micro from 1987 to 2017. Technical writing roles include positions at Pepperdata, Symbio Robotics, Okta, Adobe Systems, Apcera, Cogility Software, and Sybex/Wiley, focusing on developer documentation, AI-driven automation systems, and various technical publishing projects. Richard holds a PhD in Mathematics from UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
