Julia Bellinger

Julia Bellinger has a long and varied work experience in government affairs and policy roles. Julia is currently working as the Director of Government Affairs (Health Policy and Regulatory Affairs) at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Government Affairs professional at the International Hearing Society from 2018 to 2021. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the Principal at Bellinger and Carvin Government Relations. Julia has also held positions such as Director of Federal Relations at the YMCA of the USA (National Resource Office) from 2011 to 2013, Director of Government Relations at SmithBucklin from 2006 to 2011, and Senior Policy Analyst at the National Business Group on Health in 2005 to 2006. Julia worked at SHRM as a Manager of Legislation and Regulation/Healthcare from 1997 to 2005 and at the National Association of REALTORS® as a Manager of Advocacy from 1992 to 1997. Julia started their career as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Tim Penny from 1985 to 1988 and served as a Government Affairs Manager at NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association from 1988 to 1992.

Julia Bellinger holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, they have pursued a Master's degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University. The start and end years for both degrees are not provided.
