Praboda Geeganage CPA (Aus), ACMA (UK)

Praboda Geeganage has a diverse range of work experience in the field of finance and treasury. They began their career in 2003 at the Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd, where they held various roles including Assistant Manager/Senior Dealer in the Treasury department and Executive Officer Credit. In these roles, they were responsible for evaluating and delivering asset products, formulating business and marketing plans, and developing new business opportunities.

From 2012 to 2016, Praboda worked as an Assistant Manager in the Treasury & Investments Group at DOHA BANK in Qatar. Here, they managed the bank's liquidity and regulatory ratios, cash flow forecasting, and money market products.

In 2016, Praboda joined Westpac Institutional Bank as a Liquidity Analyst in the Treasury Finance department. Their responsibilities included producing and circulating daily liquidity reports, liquidity modeling, scenario analysis, and monitoring wholesale funding flows.

Praboda then moved to the Catholic Development Fund in Melbourne in 2017, where they worked as a Treasury Analyst. In this role, they contributed to the management of the fund's treasury operations.

In 2018, Praboda joined Latitude Financial Services as a Senior Treasury Analyst. During their time there, they gained experience in treasury functions and analysis.

In 2021, Praboda held the position of Manager Treasury at nbn™ Australia, where they had responsibilities in the treasury department.

Currently, Praboda works as the Treasury and Securitization Manager at SocietyOne.

Praboda Geeganage has a strong educational background with a focus on accounting and finance. In 2005, they completed a program at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, specializing in management accounting, which they pursued for four years until 2009. After that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka, completing the program between 2007 and 2010. In 2014, Praboda enrolled in the CPA Australia Program, where they studied accounting and finance for two years until 2016. Praboda also has additional certification as an ACI Dealing Certificate from ACI Paris. Furthermore, they have taken a course on financial modeling at The University of Sydney Business School.
