Taha Adam

Taha Adam has a diverse work experience in various roles. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Sales Associate at TNI The Network Inc., where they consistently met sales quotas and demonstrated strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. In 2018, they served as an Educator/Sales Rep at lululemon, where they provided customers with product education, processed stock, and arranged deliveries. From 2019 to 2020, Taha worked as a Residence Advisor at The University of British Columbia. In this role, they provided support to university residents. In 2020, they gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer Co-op at FortisBC, assisting engineers with various tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance. In 2021, Taha worked as an Academic Continuity Rover at UBC Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology, addressing technical issues with learning technologies and providing support to instructors and students. Currently, they are employed as a Mechanical Engineer in Training at Solaris MCI.

Taha Adam completed high school at Burnaby Central Secondary School from 2012 to 2017, earning a High School Diploma. In 2016 and 2017, Taha Adam attended École Alpha Secondary School, studying Mechatronics but did not obtain a degree. From 2017 to 2022, Taha Adam attended The University of British Columbia and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In terms of certifications, Taha Adam completed Preventing and Addressing Workplace Bullying and Harassment Training, as well as Privacy & Information Security Fundamentals from The University of British Columbia in August 2019. Additionally, Taha Adam obtained First Responder & CPR/AED Level HCP certification from the Canadian Red Cross in March 2019.
