Thomas Negrel

Thomas Negrel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Thomas began their career in the French Army, serving as the Deputy Commanding Officer for the Engineer department from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they streamlined maintenance processes and achieved efficiency gains through redesigning a computer-based application. After leaving the army, Negrel joined the Gendarmerie Nationale as the Commanding Officer of the Counter Riot/SWAT team unit, where they managed operations and presented operational orders during crisis situations. Thomas transitioned to the corporate finance sector, working for BNP Paribas CIB Corporate Finance from 2010 to 2014, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Negrel then joined William Blair & Company as a Vice President of Investment Banking, specializing in M&A and ECM transactions. Thomas advised clients on capital structure and shareholder matters, conducted due diligence, and contributed to deal generation. In 2017, Negrel joined Specialty's Cafe & Bakery as the Vice President of Finance, Planning, and Development, overseeing financial strategies and development projects. Thomas later worked as the COO EllaMia for C3 by sbe from 2020 to 2021. Negrel's most recent roles include serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Arch Telecom from June 2021 to December 2021, the Interim Chief Financial Officer for Credo Beauty from December 2021 to April 2023, and currently as the Chief Financial Officer for Solawave since April 2023.

Thomas Negrel completed an MBA in Finance at HEC Paris from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, they attended the Ecole des Officiers de la Gendarmerie Nationale (EOGN) where they studied criminal investigation, counter-rioting, and SWAT. Thomas Negrel also pursued studies in international relations at the Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr from 1998 to 2001.
