Kyle Motter

Kyle Motter has seven years of work experience in the engineering field. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Mechatronics Engineer at Solo AVT. From 2020-2022, they worked at Roam Robotics as a Staff Engineer, Robotics Engineer, and Controls Engineer. From 2016-2020, they were a Robotics Engineer at R-DEX Systems, Inc. From 2011-2016, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at ASML. In 2011, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Aero Engine Controls (Contract). In 2010, they worked as a Structural Analyst/Engineer for Aerojet (Contract). From 2007-2011, they worked at CDI Aerospace as a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer, where they provided structural analysis and design support on Space Shuttle Main Engine, RD-180, and J-2X rocket and the F135 jet engines, including FEA static, quasi-static, and dynamic analysis. Kyle was twice awarded by CDI for personal achievement for providing superior analysis support under an accelerated delivery schedule.

Kyle Motter received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 2007. Kyle then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Robotics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2019.
