Cheney Yan

Cheney Yan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They began their career as a Java Developer and Project Manager at Dascom Technology in 2001. From there, they worked as a Java Developer at Mobile Messenger from 2006 to 2009. Then, they joined Aspire-Info as a Fetion Overseas Supervisor from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, Cheney started working at UBS as an Automation Developer until 2012. They then transitioned to a role as an AWS DevOps Engineer at Rozetta Technology from 2012 to 2018. Cheney joined Domain in 2018 as a DevOps Tech Lead, where they led the Unified Jenkins Automation Pipeline and AI platform development. In 2019, Cheney joined Sonder as a Senior DevOps Lead, and eventually became the Head of Platform in 2021. Currently, they are working at The Mintable as a Mintable Manager, focusing on empowering their team and driving impact.

Cheney Yan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Cheney further pursued higher education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, Cheney Yan acquired an AWS certified developer - Associate accreditation from Amazon in January 2017. Cheney also has certifications in AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional from Amazon Web Services.
