Shekh Shagar

Shekh Shagar has extensive experience in software engineering, specifically in mobile application development. Shekh currently serves as an Engineering Lead (Mobile) at Sonder, where they manage all mobile applications and collaborates with various teams to design end-to-end solutions. In addition, they oversee a mobile engineering team, including Android, iOS, and QA engineers. Prior to Sonder, Shagar worked as a Senior Android Engineer at Sonder from 2019 to 2021, where they developed two Android applications from scratch and collaborated with product and design teams for successful delivery. Before that, they held the position of Android Developer at Deputy, where they played a key role in migrating the app from Java to Kotlin and applying the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture. Shagar's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at Brain Station 23 Limited, where they undertook responsibilities such as requirements analysis, project planning, and development of Android applications. At Grameen Intel Social Business Ltd., they started as a Java developer and later transitioned into a leadership role within the Android development team, where they led the development and maintenance of multiple Android applications and mentored team members.

Shekh Shagar pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the American International University-Bangladesh. Shekh was enrolled at the university from 2008 to 2013.
