Magnus Olsson

Magnus Olsson is the Vice President at Sony Lund Research & Technology Center, overseeing research and standardization of wireless technologies, including contributions to 6G and the enhancement of 5G networks for entertainment production. Concurrently, Magnus serves as the CEO of Sony Mobile Communications AB and the site manager for Sony Lund. In previous roles, Magnus led the Sony Software Center Europe and various software development teams at Sony Mobile Communications, significantly impacting embedded development and software lifecycle solutions. Magnus has also held project management roles at Ericsson, contributing to the development of the world’s first email application in a mobile phone. An electrical engineering graduate from Lund University, Magnus has pursued further education in board training.
