Sabrina Lafifi

Sabrina Lafifi has extensive work experience in the field of quality control and management. Sabrina currently holds the position of Head of Quality Operations at SOPHiA GENETICS, starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Manager at SOPHiA GENETICS from September 2022 to July 2023 and as a Quality Control Manager from November 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining SOPHiA GENETICS, Sabrina worked at Ferring Pharmaceuticals as a Lean Project Manager from September 2019 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for reorganizing the laboratory, creating new structures, managing operational teams, and implementing Lean culture.

Sabrina also has previous experience as a Quality Control Manager at FAMAR from January 2015 to August 2017, PCAS from September 2013 to January 2015, and GATTEFOSSÉ from August 2012 to September 2013. Additionally, Sabrina worked as a Project Lead Production at Solvay in 2012, Analyste at BASF from April 2011 to March 2012, Analytical Chemist at Bayer in June 2009, and Chemist at Arkema from September 2005 to September 2008.

Sabrina Lafifi attended ESAA La Martinière Diderot from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Brevet de technicien supérieur in Chemistry. Sabrina then enrolled at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from 2008 to 2009 to pursue a Licence in Chemistry. Later, from 2009 to 2013, Sabrina studied at Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, earning a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Analytical Chemistry.
