Madeleine Merchant

Madeleine Merchant serves as the Head of People, VP at SoulCycle Inc. since May 2024, overseeing the full people function for both Field and Corporate operations and reporting directly to the CEO. Previously, Madeleine held the same role at Blink Fitness from September 2021 to May 2024, where responsibilities also included managing people functions for Field and Corporate operations. Prior experience includes serving as the Head of People, VP at Equinox Media, focusing on organizational design, performance management, and talent acquisition from May 2020 to August 2021, as well as a brief membership at Chief in early 2020. Additionally, Madeleine was the VP of Operations and People at Flocabulary from February 2016 to December 2019, managing internal operations and corporate social responsibility. Education includes an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California and a BA with a double major in Economics and English from Claremont McKenna College.
