Sue Thesner

Sue Thesner has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Most recently, they worked as a Support Services Manager at Southern Cross Healthcare Ltd starting in February 2021.

Before that, they held various roles at Downer New Zealand from 2018 to 2020. These roles included Senior Administrator - Infrastructure Projects, New Business Administrator, Stakeholder Communications assistant, and Office Administrator/Document Controller.

Prior to joining Downer New Zealand, Sue had a long tenure at KPMG South Africa. Sue started in February 1999 and worked as a Senior Manager in the Forensic department. In this role, they managed the National Corporate Intelligence team, conducted investigative research and risk management, and had experience in various areas such as due diligence, forensic investigations, and accounts assistance. Sue also had knowledge of various systems and research tools.

Additionally, Sue had a brief role as a Senior Administrator at Mosaic (London) in 2003.

Sue Thesner obtained a Certificate in Property Law and Conveyancing from the SA School of Paralegal Studies in 2012. In 2011, they completed a Diploma in Technical Financial Accounting from the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, specializing in Accounting. Prior to that, in 2005, they earned a Diploma in Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation from the University of Johannesburg, with a focus on Forensic Investigation. Additionally, in May 2020, they obtained a certification in Building Resilience from LinkedIn.
