Laura Adams is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Process Science Engineers MS&T at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., Laura oversees a team of lab interns and co-ops while previously holding positions as MS&T Downstream Lead Engineer and Senior Process Engineer, focusing on process implementation, technology transfer, and lifecycle management for biologics. With a solid foundation as a Senior Manufacturing Technician at both Spark and Shire, Laura has contributed to the production of groundbreaking gene therapies and earned several accolades for outstanding performance. An early career in research at Cornell University laid the groundwork for expertise in glycoproteins and energy modeling, complemented by advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and Villanova University.
