Staff Infrastructure Engineer at Speech Graphics

Robbie Gittins began their work experience as a Student Technician at Dundee and Angus College during a summer placement in 2016. Robbie then continued as a Student at the college from 2015 to 2018. After that, they joined Robert Gordon University as a Student from 2018 to 2020.

In 2020, Robbie started working for iomart Hosting as a Technical Support Engineer (System Administrator) for their subsidiary Memset Ltd. Robbie provided technical support for Dedicated and VPS platforms and played a role in integrating Memset's VPS platform into the wider systems of the Iomart group. Robbie held this position until September 2022.

Currently, Robbie is employed at Speech Graphics, where they initially worked as an Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer from September 2022 to June 2023. Robbie then assumed a more senior position as a Staff Infrastructure Engineer, focusing on maintaining and modernizing the internal infrastructure of the company.

Robbie Gittins obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc) in Computer Network Management and Design (CNMD) from Robert Gordon University during the period from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, Robbie attended Dundee and Angus College where they obtained an HND Computing qualification with a specialization in Networking. Additionally, Robbie holds a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching certification obtained from Cisco Networking Academy in April 2016. Furthermore, Robbie attended Madras College in St. Andrews, Fife from 2005 to 2011, although no degree or field of study is specified for that period. Robbie also earned an HND Computing qualification which was certified by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). The specific details of when this certification was obtained are not provided.
