Waleed Tayel

Waleed Tayel is an engineering recruiter at Squadio. Prior to joining Squadio, Waleed was a senior technical recruiter at Tempo from July 2021 to October 2021. In this role, Waleed was responsible for developing and delivering search committee training regarding hiring best practices and University selection procedures. Waleed also provided counsel to hiring managers/search committees regarding the development of search timelines, materials, etc. Additionally, Waleed was responsible for identifying and coordinating participation in recruiting events to advertise campus faculty and staff employment opportunities.

At Squadio, Waleed is responsible for providing statistical analysis of HR employment data for data-driven decision making and process improvement. Waleed is also responsible for leading the New Employee Onboarding Program for non-faculty staff and coordination and oversight of HR-led training and development efforts. Additionally, they coordinate the campus competency-based job description initiative and the campus Training Advisory Group (TAG).

Waleed Tayel has a HR diploma from CIC - Canadian International College in Talent management, Recruitment and selection,PMS,OD and personal. Waleed also has a Bachelor's degree from Cairo University in English Language and Literature, General. Waleed is certified from the Canadian Council for International Co-operation (CCIC-CCCI) in Human resources (Recruitment) and has a Diploma from “Canadian Council chamber certificate”. Waleed is also certified from ISO 9000 PLUS in ISO certificate-training 9001 in quality and management system.
