Jerica Phillips

Jerica Phillips is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategic Communications at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC since May 2022. Prior positions include Chief of Communications and Deputy Chief of Communications at Memphis-Shelby County Schools from March 2019 to May 2022. Jerica's early career includes extensive experience in journalism as a News Anchor at WMC-TV from August 2008 to March 2019, where responsibilities encompassed reporting, photography, and editing. Additionally, Jerica has served as a Social Marketing Coordinator for Shelby County Government, where a comprehensive marketing plan was implemented for a grant program aiding children with mental health needs. Other roles included Eligibility Clerk for the State of Tennessee and undergraduate reporter at WBIR-TV. Education was completed at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs in 2008.
