Hailey Weiss has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare and research. In 2018, they served as an Emergency Medical Technician at the Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department, where they were responsible for overseeing patient care and managing the ambulance. Hailey also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad starting in 2022.

During their time at Washington University in St. Louis, Hailey held multiple roles. As a Global Health Teaching Assistant in the Department of Anthropology, they facilitated small group discussions, held office hours, and assisted students in understanding course material. Hailey also served as a Biology Laboratory Teaching Assistant, offering support to students in laboratory techniques and grading their reports.

Hailey also served as a Research Intern at the Newborn Screening Translational Research Network, conducting literature searches, studying newborn screening development, and creating promotional materials.

Starting in 2023, Hailey will join the University of Michigan as part of the Public Health Action Support Team (PHAST). Hailey will also work as a Research Assistant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Michigan Medicine.

Hailey Weiss earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology: Global Health Environment from Washington University in St. Louis between 2020 and 2023. Hailey then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Michigan School of Public Health from 2023 to 2025. Prior to their higher education, Hailey completed their High School Diploma at Charles E Smith Jewish Day School. Additionally, they hold certifications in various fields such as Stop the Bleed Instructor, Epic - Live - Research Coordinator - 2601, Good Clinical Practice (U.S. FDA Focus), HIPAA, Human Research: Biomedical Research Investigators and Key personnel, and Emergency Medical Technician, which they obtained in 2019 from the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute.
