Christine Abel

Christine Abel has extensive experience in various roles related to performance management, rewards, and HR consulting. Christine is currently the VP Global Performance & Rewards at STADA Group. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Advisor and interim Manager at Advisory | Aufsichtsrat | Hochschule, where they focused on total rewards and performance management transformations. Christine also served as a Beirat for People & Organization at Quadriga University of Applied Sciences. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Senior Partner and Board Member at hkp/// group, where they advised companies and boards on total rewards design and executive compensation. Before that, they worked at METRO Group / METRO AG as the Group Director of Performance & Rewards. Christine started their career at Hay Group as a Partner and Senior Vice President and at Hewitt Associates as an in-house actuarial consultant.

Christine Abel attended the Universität des Saarlandes from 1984 to 1991, where they obtained a Diplom in Mathematik & Informatik. Christine also earned a Dr. rer. nat. - Promotion in Informatik. Furthermore, Christine obtained additional certifications including a Certified NED from Board Partners | Board Academy in 2022, and a Diploma and Doctorate Dr. rer. nat. from Saarland University in 1991.
