Brooke Donald is the Associate Dean for Communications and Public Affairs at Stanford University. Brooke was previously a Silicon Valley Correspondent for the Associated Press, where they were responsible for coverage of the Silicon Valley and South Bay. Donald has also worked as a Senior Writer for The Baltic Times.

Donald developed a niche beat of web accessibility, writing on programs and efforts at Yahoo! and other Internet companies to make the web accessible to those with disabilities. Brooke also was a lead writer and investigator on the kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard, who was discovered nearly 20 years after they were snatched from the street. And they investigated abuse in the Catholic church as well as other sexual assault cases. Breaking news events they covered included the death of Steve Jobs, a workplace shooting in Cupertino, wildfires in the Santa Cruz mountains and visits by dignitaries to the Valley, including President Barack Obama.

Brooke Donald has a Master's Degree in Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College. Brooke also has a certification from Stanford University in Stanford Manager Academy.

Brooke Donald reports to Dan Schwartz, Dean, School of Education. They work with Amado Padilla - Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Nereyda Salinas - Assistant Dean for Professional Development, and Olivia Crawford - Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives.
