David Guppy

David Guppy has extensive work experience in various finance and leadership roles. David is currently the Chief Financial Officer at STARZPLAY. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Advisor at Media7one Ltd. From 2017 to 2022, they held multiple positions at Beano Studios, including Chief Executive Officer and CFO & COO. Before that, they served as CFO at Silvergate Media and Managing Partner at CWC Resources. David also worked at NBCUniversal Media, LLC as the CFO for International TV Production, where they successfully grew the business revenue and led a significant expansion of the finance team. David has earlier experience as the Director of Financial Operations at Orbit Showtime Network and as the Group Financial Controller at Showtime Gulf DTH. David's career began with a role as Finance Manager at British Airways Plc, where they managed the finances for marketing, brands, and the Executive Club. Prior to that, they served as an Internal Auditor at Hertz Europe Ltd.

David Guppy earned their BA Hons in Geography from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Billericay from 1981 to 1989, although no degree or field of study is specified.
