Steve Bennett is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Stash since March 2020, Bennett oversees critical functions including UK Engineering, Operations Tooling, Identity Verification, and Fraud Prevention. Previously, Bennett held the role of VP Engineering at Alfresco, where leadership spanned over 70 engineers, delivering a comprehensive digital platform for major enterprises. With managerial roles at Marks and Spencer, eBay, Hibu, and BT, Bennett has consistently contributed to team growth, hiring strategies, and agile methodologies. An alumnus of the University of York, Bennett graduated with a degree in Computer Science in 2006.
