Todd M. Gershkowitz

EVP, Head of Global Total Rewards & HR Shared Services at State Street

Todd Gershkowitz is an executive vice president and head of Global Total Rewards and HR shared services for State Street, based in Boston. He joined State Street in July 2010 and is responsible for executive and employee compensation, benefits, and mobility across all of State Street’s businesses worldwide, as well as HR shared services (i.e., technology, analytics, operations, vendor management, project management, and payroll) globally.

Before joining State Street, Todd was senior vice president of Farient Advisors, an executive compensation consulting firm, based in New York. Prior to Farient, he was managing director of Three Lens Advisors, a firm that he co-founded and merged with Farient Advisors in January 2009. Mr. Gershkowitz has also held senior positions at Citibank, GE, IBM, UBS, and Sibson Consulting, and has spent more than 10 years living and working internationally in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Todd has served on the boards of directors of three private companies, as well as the Board of Governors of the Society of Sloan Fellows, an alumni advisory board at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He currently serves as: chair of the Board of Directors of The Urbano Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to high school arts education in Greater Boston; a member of the Board of Directors of JazzBoston, a non-profit jazz advocacy organization; and a member of the Executives Forum of the Institute for Compensation Studies at Cornell University.

Todd received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and his Master of Science degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
