Ashlee Steudle Hayen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ashlee started their career in 2008 as a Youth Mentor at EdVentures W.A., where they conducted field-based research and led confidence-building workshops for teenagers. Ashlee then worked as a Research Assistant at Michigan State University in 2009. After that, they took on multiple roles at Kalamazoo College, including Student Advisor and Teaching Assistant.

In 2011, Ashlee interned at The Kraft Heinz Company, gaining experience in human resources and labor relations. Ashlee joined the company full-time in 2012, initially as an Assistant HR Manager, and later became an Associate HR Manager, handling talent management and engagement. Ashlee also worked as a Project Manager for HR systems and solutions and as an HR Lead for talent management and university relations.

In 2016, they moved to James Hardie Building Products, where they served as the Head of HR for the Beechworth Windows Division and as a Senior HR Manager for HR transformation.

Their most recent role, which they started in 2019, is with Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. Ashlee started as a Senior HR Manager, providing strategic HR leadership to sales and marketing teams. Ashlee then took on the position of HR Director, delivering HR expertise and coaching to corporate functions teams.

Throughout their career, Ashlee has gained expertise in various HR areas, including organizational design, talent acquisition, performance management, and change management. Ashlee has also demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of implementing effective HR programs and initiatives.

Ashlee Steudle Hayen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business and Psychology at Kalamazoo College from 2006 to 2010. Ashlee then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University from 2010 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Ashlee obtained the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in June 2021. In September 2018, they received certifications in "Coaching for Results," "Jeff Weiner on Establishing a Culture and a Plan for Scaling," "Shane Snow on Storytelling," "Managing Experts," "Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials," and "Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience" from LinkedIn. Additionally, they have a Green Belt certification, completed the HR Leadership Academy from CEB (now Gartner), and acquired a Project Management certification from Kepner-Tregoe.
