Alexis Dubois

Hydrogen Program Manager at Steelhead Composites

Alexis Dubois has a wealth of experience in hydrogen and space economy, operations, research, and teaching. In 2021, they began working as the Hydrogen Program Manager for Steelhead Composites-Hydrogen and Space Economy. From 2019-2021, they served as the Managing Director for HyET Hydrogen USA LLC, the Director of Operations USA for HyET Solar Netherlands B.V., and the Program Intern for Colorado Cleantech Industries Association. From 2014-2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Colorado School of Mines. In 2013, they were an R&D Intern at both Eovent GmbH and Intelesens, where they managed testing of the thermal module inside the company's 'zensor' device, built up a heat transfer module to determine design, geometry and material for thermometer integration, and addressed technical issues to meet health policies and regulations for product commercialization. In 2011, they were a Project Student at Humasol and a Summer Intern at Karunya University.

Alexis Dubois completed their education history with a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal-Fluids Sciences) from Colorado School of Mines in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven in 2014, as well as a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University in 2013 and 2012 respectively. Alexis also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven in 2012.
