Samantha Fitzgerald

Samantha Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Samantha started their career at Trent University as a Pub Services employee, where they bartended weddings, handled cash boxes and deposits, and checked IDs for entry into the pub. Samantha then worked as a Sales Associate at Edgil Pool Services Ltd, where they used computer programs for water chemistry testing, performed pool maintenance tasks, and provided customer service. Samantha also gained experience as a Tugger Operator at GM CAMI Assembly, delivering parts to the production line and ensuring timely delivery without disrupting operations. Samantha later served as a Sales Associate at Ruffins Pet Centre and a Server at Barrel Pizza & Spaghetti House, where they focused on sales and customer service. Samantha's expertise in operations management was developed during their time at US Steel Canada, where they held positions such as Management Associate Operations and Operations Shift Manager. In these roles, they conducted incident investigations, handled contractual grievances, and administered the implementation of recommendations. Currently, Samantha works at STELCO - The Steel Company of Canada as an Area Manager Operations, overseeing the Hot Strip Mill and logistics/shipping & conditioning operations.

Samantha Fitzgerald completed their education chronologically starting with an Honours Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Trent University. Samantha attended Trent University from 2007 to 2011. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Fredericton. Samantha studied at the University of Fredericton from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Samantha obtained a CPR certification from the Red Cross EU Office in February 2014.
