Courtney Jagels

Courtney Jagels has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Courtney began their career at Newman's Fish Company as a Fish Monger and worked there for eight years. Courtney then joined Provvista Specialty Foods, Inc as a Purchasing Agent, managing specialty chocolate and Italian imports, regional dried fruit and nuts, and locally sourced spices and grains. After seven years, they moved to Whole Foods Market and worked as a Vitamin Specialist, responsible for maintaining excellent customer service standards, in-depth knowledge of dietary supplements, and inventory management.

Courtney then joined Pasco Corporation of America as a US Sales and Technical Services Assistant, providing general support for the Sales, R&D, and Quality Control departments. Courtney assisted with customer communication, order processing, market research, data analysis, and presentation preparation. Courtney later took on the role of an R&D Technician at Pasco Corporation of America, supporting the creation and renewal of baked food products.

In 2016, Courtney joined Smith Teamaker as a Sales Representative, where they developed and implemented strategies for increased sales in domestic and international markets. Courtney also nurtured wholesale relationships, attended trade shows, and educated customers on tea production and service. Courtney then transitioned to the role of a Customer Service Manager at Smith Teamaker, where they managed all inquiries, order processing, and customer communication.

Most recently, Courtney held the position of HR Generalist & Executive Assistant at Smith Teamaker and is currently serving as the HR Manager & Executive Assistant. Courtney'sresponsibilities in these roles include providing HR support and managing administrative tasks for the company.

Courtney Jagels completed their undergraduate education at Oregon State University from 1998 to 2002. Courtney obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science, specializing in Food Science and Technology with a focus on Fermentation Science. Additionally, Courtney pursued further education by obtaining a SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) certification from the Society for Human Resources Management.
