Martin Becker

Principal Application Scientist at Stilla Technologies

Martin Becker has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Martin started their career in 2012 at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, where they worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter until 2018. During their time there, they also served as a Projectleader, responsible for supervising documentation regarding safety level 1 (S1) research in the institute of plant nutrition. In 2018, they joined IPK Gatersleben as a Postdoctoral Researcher for the BMBF Projekt "PRECISE," focusing on precise allele replacement in cereals. Martin later became a Postdoctoral Research Scientist before leaving in 2021. Most recently, Martin Becker joined Stilla Technologies as an Application Scientist in July 2021.

Martin Becker earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Plantbiotechnology from Leibniz Universität Hannover, which they completed between 2007 and 2010. Martin then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biology of plants with a specialization in molecular plant genetics at the same institution from 2010 to 2012.
