Nick Hitchcock

Nick Hitchcock has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Nick held the role of Manager, Manufacturing Engineering at SMTI - Stone Mountain Technologies, Inc, where they managed a fabrication team and developed plans for sourcing components. Nick also served as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at the same company, where they built cost models for heat pumps and designed and built a machine for heat exchanger fin production.

Prior to that, Hitchcock worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Hapco Pole Products, where they coordinated a capital project for a new steel pole manufacturing facility and designed upgrades for spinning equipment. Nick also had experience as a Manufacturing Engineer and Development Engineer at Bristol Compressors, where they worked on process development, continuous improvement, and product development.

Furthermore, Hitchcock served as a Mechanical Engineer at AGC Flat Glass North America, Inc., where they identified upgrades and coordinated with outside contractors for a glass line rebuild. Nick also worked as a Mechanical Designer at Electro-Mechanical Corporation, where they prepared drawings and bills of materials and utilized 3D modeling software to reduce design errors.

Nick Hitchcock earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, which they attended from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design - Professional from Dassault Systèmes in June 2015, and an Engineer In Training certification from the TN board of engineering and architectural examiners in December 2010.
