Sam Fisher

Sam Fisher has held a variety of roles since 2016. In that year, they worked as an Assistant Composer for The Public Theater and as an Application Support Specialist for Seller Labs. In 2017, they became the Head of Music for Brain.fm and in 2018, they were the Lead Software Engineer for Vocool Technologies. In 2019, Fisher co-founded Apothewell and worked as a Data Scientist for BOND.AI. Sam also served as a Data Science Advisor for Panion: The Community Engagement Platform and as a Freelance Data Scientist for Fisher Metrical, LLC. In 2020, Fisher worked as a Consulting Data Scientist for Impending Bloom and is currently a Data Scientist for Stratyfy, where they help maximize the profitability of their sales team's time by automatically deciding which sales people each inbound lead should be allowed to book an appointment with.

Sam Fisher obtained a Bachelor of Music in Technology in Music and Related Arts from Oberlin College in 2014. In 2018, Sam attended Springboard for a Data Science Career Track. Later that same year, Sam began post baccalaureate coursework at Harvard Extension School in Math & Computer Science. In 2020, Sam began a MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science at MITx Courses. Sam has also obtained several certifications, including Fundamentals of Statistics from edX in September 2021, Machine Learning from Linear Models to Deep Learning from edX in April 2021, Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data from edX in November 2020, and 6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from edX in October 2017.
