Stacy Gavin

Stacy Gavin has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and wellness.

Most recently, they worked at Strive Health as a People Analytics Lead starting in 2022.

Prior to that, Stacy held several roles at Hillsborough County, including Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Wellness Coordinator. In their role as Wellness Coordinator, they were responsible for developing and managing wellness communications for County employees, implementing process improvement strategies, and creating data analytic tools. Stacy worked at Hillsborough County from 2018 to 2022.

Before joining Hillsborough County, Stacy worked at Genesis Health Clubs as a General Manager and Health And Wellness Coordinator.

As the General Manager, they managed the daily operations of the health club facility and developed relationships with members. As the Health And Wellness Coordinator, Stacy managed and implemented health and wellness engagement programs, coordinated with internal and external teams, and facilitated the Physician Referred Exercise Program. Stacy worked at Genesis Health Clubs from 2016 to 2018.

Earlier in their career, Stacy worked at CareHere LLC as a Director of Health and Wellness and Populations Health Coordinator/Exercise Health Coach. As the Director of Health and Wellness, they successfully implemented wellness initiatives for multiple client accounts and collaborated on strategic goals. As the Populations Health Coordinator/Exercise Health Coach, Stacy developed and implemented programs for client groups and developed standardized protocols for patient care. Stacy worked at CareHere LLC from 2012 to 2016.

Stacy Gavin holds a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the same institution between 2006 and 2010. Additionally, Stacy has obtained certifications in "Presenting Data Effectively to Inform and Inspire" from LinkedIn (in 2023), "Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate" from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education (in 2020), and "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace" from the University of South Florida.
