Kah Fai Chin

Kah Fai Chin has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Marine Operations Engineer at PAPE Engineering from May 2013 to May 2014. In this role, they performed various engineering tasks related to offshore topside float-over and analyzed motion engineering for barges and floaters.

Kah Fai then co-founded Structo Pte Ltd in June 2012 and served as the Co-Founder and later as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for two years. During their time at Structo, they commercialized patented 3D printing technology for dental and orthodontic laboratory applications. Kah Fai grew the company to become a global organization with over 100 employees and established offices in Singapore, the USA, and Canada. As the CTO, they spearheaded the company's R&D efforts and successfully launched OrthoForm and RapidForm, the company's first dental and industrial 3D printers, respectively. Kah Fai also held other positions within the company, including Head of Sustaining & Regulatory, Head of Supply Chain Management, and Technical Program Manager, where they oversaw various technical programs and managed engineering resources.

In 2022, Kah Fai Chin became the Managing Director at Beco Ventures. Then in 2023, they joined BECO Verdant as the Managing Director. At BECO Verdant, they lead the transformation of smallhold farms through fully integrated greenhouse solutions, standardized farm assets, and comprehensive training programs.

Overall, Kah Fai Chin has a strong background in engineering, business development, and management, with extensive experience in 3D printing technology and a proven track record of driving growth and success in various organizations.

Kah Fai Chin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from the National University of Singapore from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, Kah Fai Chin attended Malacca High School from 2007 to 2008, where they pursued a physics-focused curriculum and obtained the STPM degree. In addition to their formal education, Kah Fai Chin also earned a certification as a Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP) from Dassault Systemes in June 2011.
