Mehdi M.

Mehdi M. has extensive work experience in the technology development and engineering field. Mehdi is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Technology Development at Structo since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Engineering (Additive and Battery Engineering) at Sakuu from July 2022 to January 2023. Mehdi also held the position of VP of Engineering at NEXA3D from September 2021 to May 2022.

Before their roles in management, Mehdi was the Director of Manufacturing Process Engineering and Technology Development at Align Technology from July 2017 to September 2021. Mehdi also worked at 3D Systems Corporation, where they served as the Director of 3D Printing and Technical Fellow from January 2014 to May 2017, and as the Director of Inkjet Technologies from November 2011 to January 2014.

Furthermore, Mehdi has experience as a Senior Research Engineer at 3D Systems Corporation from January 2005 to October 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at both the University of Southern California and the Integrated Media Systems Center from January 2000 to January 2005, where they conducted research in their field.

Mehdi M. pursued their education starting in 1990 at Sharif University of Technology, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997. In 2000, Mehdi M. pursued further education at the University of Southern California, where they completed their Ph.D. in Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing in 2005.
