Son Nguyen

Son Nguyen has worked for five different companies since 2012. Son began as a University Lecturer at Vietnam Maritime University and then took on a Visiting Scholar role at California State University Maritime Academy in the same year. In 2017, they became a Nespresso Sales Advisor at Mesh Marketing Pty Ltd. In 2020, they took on a Salesperson role at The Good Guys and then a Financial Analyst role at Succession Plus. Son is currently the Lead Financial Analyst at Succession Plus.

Son Nguyen is currently enrolled in CPA Australia, where they are pursuing a CPA degree. Prior to this, they obtained a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst degree from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in 2022. Son also holds a Master of Professional Accounting from La Trobe University, which they completed in 2020. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Research from Macquarie University in the field of Maritime Studies. In 2014, they earned a Master of Science - MS from World Maritime University in Maritime Law Enforcement. In 2011, they received a Bachelor of Applied Finance from University of South Australia.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Son Nguyen has obtained a number of certifications. These include Income Tax Consultant from H&R Block Australia in 2021, Associate Member (ASA) from CPA Australia in 2020, Credentialed Community Language (CCL) from NAATI in 2020, Xero Certified Advisor from Xero in 2021, Graduate Management Accountant (GMA) from CMA Australia Hong Kong Branch in 2020, and Certified Accredited Capitaliz Adviser from Capitaliz.
