Steven Leist

Steven Leist is an accomplished professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as the Director of Operations and Principal Scientist at SunP Biotech since January 2018. Previously, Steven held various research and teaching positions at Drexel University from September 2010 to December 2017, where significant contributions included the development of a 4D printing system using light-reactive shape-changing polymers and the design of a shape memory alloy actuation device. Earlier experience includes mechanical engineering roles at STV and Diamond Power, focusing on contract reviews and schematic development for rail systems and coal filtration processes. Steven earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.
