Shuo Chen

Shuo Chen has a diverse and extensive work experience. They most recently worked as the Director of Engineering at SupportLogic starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held various engineering leadership roles at Uber. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Manager of two teams within the Uber Eats Courier Pricing team, where they successfully grew the team and hired talented engineers. They were also the Manager of the Courier Structural Pricing, where they utilized machine learning to generate optimal pricing levers. From 2018 to 2020, they held an engineering leadership role in the Michelangelo - ML Platform team. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Founding Tech Lead of the Driver Incentives Platform in the Uber Rides Driver Pricing team, where they built a streaming-based platform and data pipelines. Prior to Uber, Shuo Chen worked as an Engineering Manager/Principal Software Engineer at Jelli, Inc. from 2015 to 2016, where they managed two teams in the Demand Side Platform and built customer-facing web applications and RESTful APIs. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Jelli, Inc. Shuo Chen also has prior experience as a Software Engineer at eBay in 2011 and as a Software Engineering Intern at Sony Electronics Inc in 2010.

Shuo Chen holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
