Restoration Ecologist And Biologist at SWCA

Charlotte Soergel has worked as a Restoration Ecologist and Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants since July 2020. Prior to this, they were a Biologist at MIG from March 2018 to July 2020. In 2017, they worked as a Customer Service Representative and Administrative Assistant at San Anselmo Animal Hospital, where they interacted with clients, scheduled appointments, and assisted the head veterinarian with administrative duties. Charlotte also has experience as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara from September 2016 to June 2017 and as a Stipend Intern at the Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration in early 2017. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Showroom Assistant at Presidio Classics from June 2015 to August 2016, where they were responsible for product inventory, market research, customer service, and website inquiries. Additionally, they worked as an Environmental Field Technician at MIG in March-April 2016, providing on-call technical field support for environmental analysis projects.

Charlotte Soergel completed their educational journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Environmental Science from the College of Marin, spanning from 2014 to 2015. In 2013, Charlotte attended Sonoma State University, although the specific degree they pursued remains unknown. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner In-Training (CERP-IT) from the Society of Ecological Restoration in December 2021.
