Janet M. Herrick has a wide range of work experience. Janet M. started their career at Global Purchasing Solutions in 2001, where they served as the Co-Owner/Vice-President. Janet M. 'sresponsibilities in this role included sourcing and importing plumbing and electrical supplies for builders and wholesalers. Janet M. then moved on to become the CEO/President of Onsite Environmental Consulting (OEC) in 2004. Janet led OEC to become one of the leading environmental consulting firms in the Southeastern United States during their 17-year tenure. Recently, they joined SWCA Environmental Consultants in 2021 as the Director of the Jacksonville Office.

Janet M. Herrick has a diverse education history. Janet M. obtained their Master of Science degree in Environmental Policy from Kaplan University, where they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree with a focus on English, emphasizing 20th Century American Poetry and Asian Literature at the University of North Florida from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their educational achievements, Janet has also obtained several certifications. Janet M. received the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification from the Florida Department of Transportation in March 2013. In January 2008, they obtained the Jacksonville Small Emerging Business (JSEB) certification from the City of Jacksonville. Furthermore, Janet is recognized as an Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.
