Susan Zamudio-Gurrola

Susan Zamudio-Gurrola has a diverse work experience in the field of architectural history and research.

Most recently, they worked at SWCA Environmental Consultants as an Architectural Historian & Project Manager starting in April 2022.

Prior to that, Susan was employed at Michael Baker International as a Senior Architectural Historian from May 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Michael Baker International, they worked at Rincon Consultants, Inc. as an Architectural Historian from June 2015 to May 2021.

Susan also gained experience as a Research Assistant at San Buenaventura Research Associates from 2013 to 2016, where they contributed to various research projects.

Additionally, they served as an Education Assistant & Gift Shop Manager at Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation from July 2014 to May 2015.

Furthermore, Susan held a Cultural Heritage Intern position in the Resource Management Agency of the County of Ventura in 2013.

Susan'scareer began with an internship at GPA Consulting from June 2009 to November 2009.

Throughout their work experience, Susan has developed a strong understanding of architectural history and has demonstrated their skills in project management, research, and preservation.

Susan Zamudio-Gurrola completed their Bachelor's Degree in Architectural History from UC Santa Barbara from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master of Historic Preservation at the University of Southern California, specializing in Architectural History, from 2006 to 2009.
