Victor Deleau

Victor Deleau has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In 2014, they were an Audio Postproduction Internship at Groupe Transatlantic, where they prepared ProTools mixing sessions for sound engineers, backed up final materials on FTP servers, and performed EDL conformation using Titan. In 2015, they worked as a Postproduction at the Fondation Vasarely, creating audio and video materials for summer events. In 2016, they worked as a Sound Technician at the Théâtre d'Arras, collaborating with artists to host their show, setting up audio and video systems, and occasionally mixing live sound. In the same year, they were also a Tester/Assembler at GIGAMEDIA. In 2017, they were a Signal Processing Internship at NAVAL GROUP, where they developed software that allowed engineers to hear underwater ultrasound, which was added to a rugged laptop used during testing operations. In 2018, they were a Software Developer at Chic Marie, developing and deploying a recommendation system in Python & NodeJS, and integrating it with Magento's EAV database. Victor also provided training sessions for personnel. In 2019, they were a Software/AI Developer at Calixa Technologies, where they trained AI models with Pytorch, developed micro-services architecture with scalable REST APIs, and automated deployment to GCP. Victor is currently a Software Developer at OPAL-RT TECHNOLOGIES, developing REST/WebSocket APIs and a high-performance PubSub engine for a synchronised multi-user experience. Victor is set to start as a Software Engineer at SwiftConnect in 2022.

Victor Deleau has attained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Concordia University in 2020, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Science & Technology with a major in Audiovisual Sciences from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France in 2018. Victor has also obtained certifications from the District 3 Innovation Centre's Startup Validation Program in November 2019, IVADO's 24h Recommender Systems Workshop in August 2019, and IELTS Official's IELTS Academic 7.5/9 in 2016.
