Yifei Dai, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the medical and engineering fields. They currently serve as the Head of Clinical and Scientific Affairs at Swing Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Philips as an Associate Director of Clinical Affairs, Hospital Respiratory Care, Connected Care from October 2020 to April 2022. From September 2018 to October 2020, they held the position of Scientific Evidence Program Manager at Exactech. They also worked as a Senior Research Scientist/Engineer and an Electro Mechanical Engineer at Exactech from February 2017 to September 2018 and from October 2014 to February 2017, respectively.

They also worked as a Senior Research Engineer I at Zimmer from August 2010 to August 2013, where they again led population-specific research and provided technical support for project development activities.

Earlier in their career, Yifei Dai worked at Mayo Clinic as a Research Engineer from January 2010 to August 2010, where they developed subject-specific finite element models for the prediction of human proximal femur fracture. They also worked at the University of Notre Dame as a Research Assistant from August 2003 to May 2009, where they developed techniques for subject-specific finite element modeling of spinal fusion and validated models through animal studies and mechanical testing.

Yifei Dai, Ph.D., completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, from 1997 to 2002. Following that, they pursued their Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Notre Dame, from 2003 to 2009.
