Ming Cai

Ming Cai is a Technical Expert at RTE International, engaged in offline and real-time EMT simulations and HVDC systems since October 2019. Prior to this role, Ming completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power system studies at Polytechnique Montréal from May 2015 to October 2019, where research involved power system transient simulation and the development of numerical simulation methods. Earlier experience includes a Master's Degree in Applied Science from The University of British Columbia, where Ming served as a Research Assistant in the Microsystems and Nanotechnology Research Group from January 2009 to April 2011.
