Sandro Poltera

Sandro Poltera has a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations. Sandro is currently serving as the Head of ICT Infrastructure at Swissgrid AG since May 2020. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Swisscom, including Head of IT Infrastructure Operations from March 2016 to March 2020, Head of Network Factory Operations from January 2015 to March 2016, Head of Product IT Operations from January 2013 to December 2014, Head of access and common enabler product IT operations from April 2008 to December 2012, and Lead of technical product management access, messaging, and hosting from November 2004 to March 2008. Before Swisscom, they worked as a Technical Product Manager at Bluewin AG from December 2002 to March 2008. Sandro also has experience in project management at Team für innovatives Mgmt AG from 1999 to 2002.

Sandro Poltera obtained a Master of Advanced Studies in Business Administration from Zürcher Hochschule Winterthur, completing the program from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they pursued a degree in El. Ing. HTL from Fachhochschule Rapperswil, which they attended from 1995 to 1996. The field of study for this degree is not specified.
