Heinz Giesen

Heinz Giesen has a strong work experience in Human Resources. Heinz started their career at Renaissance Hotel Zürich in 1991, where they held various roles such as Transportation Manager, Guest Relation Manager, Training Manager, Payroll Administrator, and eventually became the Director of Human Resources from 2000 to 2004. Heinz then joined Zurich Marriott Hotel as Director of Human Resources from 2005 to 2010. Heinz worked as the European HR Manager at The Nuance Group from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they hold multiple leadership positions at Swissport, including Vice President of Human Resources for Switzerland & France since 2021 and previously held roles such as Vice President of Human Resources and Head of HR Operations & Development.

Heinz Giesen completed a B.A. in Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie from Universität Hagen- Fakultät für Psychologie in the years 1996 to 2006. Heinz also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Masterstudium Management from Universität Hagen- Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Kooperation mit Universität St. Gallen from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their degrees, Heinz Giesen has certifications in Arbeitsgesetz in der Praxis, FranklinCovey- Akkreditierung, HOGAN- Akkreditierung, Insights Discovery- Akkreditierung, and Kontaktperson für Arbeitssicherheit (KOPAS).
